Zombie Ass Toilet of the Dead Review [Niche Gamer]

Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead is like going to a freakshow. You’ll see vulgar and heinous shit, question if any of it is legal, and maybe feel a little sick when its over. These days, the freakshow can be streamed or bought on DVD and you wont get mugged either.

Happy Birthday Donald Pleasence [Fandom]

Donald Henry Pleasence, OBE, was an English actor who gained more than 200 screen credits during his long career. Although he often found himself typecast as villainous and/or psychopathic characters, Pleasence is possibly best known for his work in two of cinema's most enduringly successful franchises: the James Bond and Halloween series - in which he portrayed Samuel Loomis for five installments.

Elizabeth Báthory The Blood Countess From Hungary [OtakuKart]

In 1560, Elizabeth Báthory was born in Nyrbátor, Royal Hungary, on her noble family estate. The inspiration for the 2008 movie “Bathory: Countess of Blood“, the Ecsed Castle was where she spent her childhood. Her father was Andrew Bonaventura Báthory’s brother, Baron George VI Báthory from the Ecsed branch, and he had served as the voivode of Transylvania.

The Fever Cabinet Advance Book Review [Hellnotes]

I don’t know about you, but I’ve always found historical treatments of mental illness to be especially horrifying. (Heck, contemporary treatment of mental illness remains pretty scary.) I mean, these so-called doctors gave us horrific “treatments” like electro-shocks, forced sterilizations, and lobotomies, among many other practices in the asylums of old. Along with something called a “fever cabinet,” which I wasn’t familiar with, but I’m getting ahead of myself.

You’re Melting Movie Review [Indie Horror Films]

Yeah, so I basically begin nearly every review of director/writer/actor/etc. James Balsamo’s films the same way every time, so to condense it: auteur, (usually horror) comedy, extremely prolific output of work, Balsamo’s narration, shots from an airplane, full of bad but enjoyable puns, female nudity (which is okay because nothing personal, I really don’t need to see Balsamo’s naked bod, as he is always in his films, much like Mel Brooks, another filmmaker I love but do not want to see in that way), animation (both Claymation and cartoons), lately Bill Victor Arucan, and tons of cameos. And yet, I am always happy to get to see his work. Some of these listed above are bound to crop up in my comments, but they will all be in the film.

James Balsamo [Official Website]

A New Yorker all his life, James followed his instincts and set out to Los Angeles, California, to grow his business and abilities in filmmaking. It was here that he settled in and solidified his voice as a writer and director. Now some 30 feature films later, James has worked with incredible industry talents like Rob Halford, Tommy Chong, Doug Bradley, Andy Dick, Tom Arnold, The Amazing Kreskin, and Eric Roberts.

Growing up, James had an affinity for 80's Horror films. Everything with great gags, babes, and creatures ignited his imagination.

Attending conventions and comic book stores most of his life helped develop his vision for making his movies in the future.

Working as a songwriter, actor, and sculptor, he began shooting his first feature film, "Hack Job," at 19 years old. This film was picked up for world distribution, and Acidbath Productions was born.

We all know James still has many surprises up his bloodied sleeves, and we can't wait to see what's next. Stay tuned!
