A Future Full of Jaws [Gore 4]
This time, it’s really, really personal.
It was 30 years ago today, on October 21, 2015, that Marty McFly traveled to the future for the first time in Back to the Future II. Among the many futuristic developments were hoverboards, news drones, video glasses, the Cubs finally winning the World Series and a theater marquee for Jaws 19 that comes to life in holographic form. While many of these predictions have actually come true (and the Cubs, at the time of this posting, are in the N.L. Championship Series, although down 3 games to 0 to the NY Mets), we’ve fallen terribly behind in coming up with sequels to Jaws, having only gotten as far as #4, Jaws: The Revenge. However, in an alternate, and awesome, universe, maybe we have been fed a steady diet of killer shark movies on a continuing basis. Thanks to Universal, we can see what we may have missed.
