Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead is a Troma production.
If you've seen a Troma movie before, you already know we're in trouble.
The movie involves fast food, zombies, chickens, environmental satire, gore, musical numbers and an almost heroic commitment to bad taste.
It's less a horror movie than a cinematic food fight conducted inside a dumpster during the apocalypse.
And somehow...
It's a musical.
Because apparently zombies weren't enough.
We needed singing zombie chickens.
The movie is deliberately excessive in virtually every possible way.
If subtlety is what you're looking for, you should probably watch something else.
If you're looking for a movie that makes you wonder whether the filmmakers were actively challenging each other to see who could come up with the next disgusting idea...
