4. Rubber (2010)
A killer tire.
That's the movie.
Not a tire possessed by a demon.
Not a tire controlled by a serial killer.
Not a tire that transforms into a monster.
A tire.
A tire develops telekinetic powers and starts blowing things up.
If you're currently wondering whether I accidentally left out an important part of the description, I did not.
Rubber is one of those movies that seems to exist simply because someone asked:
“Could we make a horror movie about a tire?”
And instead of laughing, everyone involved apparently said:
“Absolutely.”
The result is bizarre, surreal, self-aware and intentionally absurd.
It doesn't just embrace its ridiculous premise.
It practically hugs it.
