Every horror movie town has one.
An elderly stranger.
A weird shopkeeper.
A mysterious bartender.
A creepy librarian.
Someone who has clearly been waiting 47 years for somebody to finally ask the right question.
They say:
“You don't want to know about that place.”
And the protagonist says:
“Why?”
The stranger looks directly into their soul.
“Because everyone who goes there dies.”
And the protagonist responds:
“Thanks!”
Then goes there.
Immediately.
