Hide And Go Shriek (1988)
Hide and Go Shriek is a fun little late-'80s slasher that takes the classic "teens trapped with a killer" formula and drops it into an abandoned department store after hours. What could possibly go wrong? Quite a lot, as it turns out.
The empty store provides a great playground for a masked killer, with dark aisles, mannequins, storage rooms, and plenty of places for someone to hide. The movie doesn't reinvent the slasher genre, but it delivers the kind of cheesy characters, practical effects, suspenseful chase scenes, and unmistakably '80s atmosphere that make these movies so much fun.
