Road Games (1981)
Road Games is a tense and entertaining Australian thriller that turns a long stretch of highway into the perfect setting for paranoia. The film follows truck driver Pat Quid, played by Stacy Keach, who becomes convinced that a mysterious truck driver may be a serial killer—and he isn't about to simply drive away and forget about it.
Director Richard Franklin keeps the suspense simmering as Quid plays a dangerous game of cat and mouse across the Australian outback. Jamie Lee Curtis adds plenty of charm to the mix, while the film's gorgeous scenery provides an interesting contrast to its increasingly sinister story.
